I enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day. Beside phone calls from my big girls I had some exciting efforts put forth by the younger half of the family. Laurel made me a beautiful card that contained a menu inside for breakfast in bed. Then she proceeded to prepare me a lovely meal of scrambled eggs, toast, tea, and orange juice. Along with the menu card came another card where I could choose 2-4 chores for her to do that day. So she also cleaned up the dishes from her cooking extravaganza. What a super girl.
During my breakfast in bed Anthony brought me his card. Nevermind that he confused the occassion of the day. The sentiment was great. Take a look at his card, especially the expressions and body postures of the characters he drew: Anthony, Skelly, and Dolly.
First, here are the happy threesome as a chorus line:

Next, is the page where the group becomes a rock band and sings a song dedicated to me. The other page is Anthony as Indiana Jones.

Finally, in closing, Anthony and his two friends as Star Wars Jedi fighting off the evil General of the Dark Side.
So, there you have it: Art like Hallmark can only dream about.
Martha,
